As Community Bank President, Jason focuses on helping Garretson thrive. He believes in the team First Bank & Trust has built and knows their investment in community values will continue to benefit the town.

First Bank & Trust Regional Market President Jeff Lee knows that Jason’s experience growing up in agriculture and his career in agricultural lending will benefit him as Community Bank President.

“Jason grew up on the farm. That, combined with 10+ years of ag lending experience, makes him a perfect fit for the Garretson bank and surrounding area. We look forward to his leadership of the bank and in the community,” said Jeff.

Jason spent his childhood on his family’s farm outside of Harrisburg. He is an active volunteer in the agriculture community, serving as the treasurer of the South Dakota FFA Foundation and volunteering at the Sioux Empire Livestock Show and Ag Appreciation Day.

In his free time Jason enjoys all outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and SDSU Jackrabbits. Jason and his wife Kayla reside on their acreage just outside Garretson with their two daughters.
