Don Greiner currently manages the Business Banking and Business Solutions departments at First Bank & Trust in Brookings. He was previously a Business Loan Officer/Consumer Lending Manager, and a Retail Manager. He also has experience as an Ag Loan Officer. He earned a bachelor's degree in ag business from South Dakota State University.

Don and his wife have two daughters, and he enjoys sports and hunting in his spare time. He is a member of Emerging Leaders of the South Dakota Bankers Association, and a member of his church's finance committee. He is originally from Wilmot, SD.

Jason Long is the Director of Agri-Business Banking. He has over 11 years of industry experience, spending most of his career in agricultural banking and lending. In his role, Jason prioritizes building and maintaining relationships through exceptional customer service.

Jason received his bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University and attended the SDBA National School for Experienced Ag Lenders in Spearfish, South Dakota. Jason is devoted to serving his community and is currently an executive member for the South Dakota FFA Foundation, operating as their treasurer. He was most recently a member of the Brandon Development Foundation and has also volunteered at the Sioux Empire Livestock Show and for Ag Appreciation Day.

In his free time Jason enjoys all outdoor activities, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and SDSU Jackrabbits. Jason and his wife Kayla reside on their acreage just outside Garretson with their two daughters, Morgan and Rylee.

After graduating from South Dakota State University with a degree in Ag Business, Jamie joined First Bank & Trust in March 2009 as Vice President/Agricultural Lender. Prior to joining the organization he was an Ag/Business Loan Officer at Central Minnesota Federal Credit Union.

Jamie is a native of Wessington Springs, SD, and enjoys spending time outdoors and participating in rodeos throughout the Midwest. He also enjoys spending time with his daughter Lexey.

Mike Turnwall returned to First Bank & Trust in 2021 as Business Banker. In his role, Mike is responsible for establishing relationships with businesses and customers by providing them with product offerings that help maximize performance and manage risk. With more than 10 years of professional and banking experience, Mike began his career in Operations and then later in Credit at First Bank & Trust in 2012.

A native to Huron, South Dakota, Mike attended South Dakota State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He then received his MBA at University of Sioux Falls. Mike is involved with the South Dakota Banker’s Association, a board member of the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce and a board member of Junior Achievement SD, and volunteers at Make-A-Wish SD.

Mike spends his free time golfing, being outdoors, attending SDSU events, and keeping up with his two sons, Maxwell and Callahan, and yellow lab, Gabbi, with his wife, Emily.

Meridith Weiland has more than 14 years of experience at First Bank & Trust in consumer lending, credit cards, and mortgage lending. Her previous positions included serving as the Consumer Underwriting Supervisor and Mortgage Loan Specialist Supervisor. Meridith is passionate about building relationships with business clients and finding banking solutions that align with their unique objectives.

A native of Brookings, Meridith is also a proud South Dakota State University graduate. She is active in the community serving as a Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. In her free time, Meridith enjoys traveling and attending shows and concerts with her husband, Jason.

Tom joined the bank in 2008 as Teller. He now serves as Agri-Business Banker with previous experience in Consumer Lending and Retail. Tom attended South Dakota State University and earned a degree in Ag Business.

He volunteers in his community coaching baseball and basketball. In his free time, Tom enjoys playing and watching sports, farming, hunting, and fishing. He and his wife have a son and two daughters.

Tate Thorstenson joined the First Bank & Trust team in 2015 and has been an Ag/Business banker for over fifteen years. He is a graduate of Dakota State University and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Tate is a member of the Sioux Falls Downtown Lions Club and the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Division, which he also served as chair of the division and served as chair of the Sioux Empire Livestock Show.

Tate and his wife Michaela have three children. A native of Selby, he grew up on a farm and ranch where he spends some of his free time helping out. Tate enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
