Adam Kniffen joined First Bank & Trust in 2005 and currently serves as the Sioux Falls Market President. Prior to his role as Market President, Adam was VP, Business Banking Manager for the organization. Kniffen has a business administration degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. He completed the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado, and is actively involved in many community and company initiatives, including volunteering for Junior Achievement and leading First Bank & Trust’s employee fundraising campaign for Sioux Empire United Way. He and his wife have four children and enjoy many recreational activities.

Bryan Ingalls began his lending career at our Canton location and has been a member of the First Bank & Trust team since 2003. A proud Jackrabbit, Bryan earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Business Economics from South Dakota State University. He was a member of the Leadership Sioux Falls class of 2008, is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, and a graduate of Leadership South Dakota – 2019.

Bryan is active in Sioux Falls Rotary West, YMCA, and St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and serves on the McCrossan Boys Ranch Board of Directors, member of the South Dakota Trucking Association and as an advisory board member for South Eastern Development Foundation. In his free time, he enjoys relaxing at their Lake Madison cabin, boating, fishing, watching sports and spending time with his wife Kaylene and their three children, Hayden, Madison and Dawson.

Kyler Krogh is an Assistant Vice President/Business Banker at First Bank & Trust in Sioux Falls after dedicating several years to the bank as a Contact Center Specialist and Retail Banking Officer. In his position, Kyler serves as a business development and customer service officer for business clients. He helps to increase client profitability by offering creative financial products and cultivating strong relationships.

Kyler has a business economics degree with a marketing minor from South Dakota State University. He is actively involved in the Sioux Falls community as a member of both Sioux Falls Action and Downtown Sioux Falls. In his free time, Kyler enjoys watching the Chicago Bears and spending time with family and friends.

Brad Jankord is a Business Banker for First Bank Trust in Sioux Falls. Before starting at the bank, Brad built a 14-year career in finance and treasury. In his current position, Brad is responsible for presenting business banking options, such as lending or deposit products, to customers and managing relationships with those bank customers.

A native of Redfield, SD, Brad attended the University of South Dakota, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance. Brad went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas with an emphasis in real estate. Brad is involved in his community and serves on various boards and committees such as Volunteers of America, Sioux Empire United Way, and other non-profits. Outside work, Brad enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, and playing golf. He resides in Sioux Falls with his wife Anna and children Grace and James.

Kevin joined the bank in September of 2021 with nearly two decades of experience in the financial industry. As a Small Business Association (SBA) development officer, he enjoys building relationships with business owners to understand their financing needs and to make sure his customers have the loan options that best fit with their goals.

Originally from Rapid City, Kevin now calls Sioux Falls his home. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Chadron State College. Kevin is very involved in his community, as he serves on the Financial Council for Holy Spirit Church and Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools, is a member of the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce Sports and Recreation Committee, and volunteers for Rake the Town. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, biking, travel, and attending his kids’ sporting events, including soccer, basketball, and flag football. Kevin and his wife Summer have three children: Lucas, Hadley, and Bridger.

Tate Thorstenson joined the First Bank & Trust team in 2015 and has been an Ag/Business banker for over fifteen years. He is a graduate of Dakota State University and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin. Tate is a member of the Sioux Falls Downtown Lions Club and the Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Division, which he also served as chair of the division and served as chair of the Sioux Empire Livestock Show.

Tate and his wife Michaela have three children. A native of Selby, he grew up on a farm and ranch where he spends some of his free time helping out. Tate enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

Jill Duncan joined First Bank & Trust’s Sioux Falls downtown location in 2007 as a Retail Banking Officer and thereafter became Branch Manager from 2012-2015. She currently serves the organization as Assistant Vice President and Relationship Manager for the Correspondent Banking department. Bringing over two decades of banking experience to her current role, Jill specializes in all banking needs related to Trust Company clientele. She partners closely with all business lines within First Bank & Trust, including Wealth Management, Trust, Mortgage, Business, Private and Retail Banking.

Jill is passionate about her involvement in the Sioux Falls community. She is a member of the Sioux Valley Optimist Club and volunteers at a variety of community establishments, including the Children’s Home Society and the Banquet. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, gardening, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding and playing volleyball. She and her husband, Kent, have a son and daughter, Andrew and Harlow.
